“The “El Gato Classic”. This event is sanctioned by World Cup Skateboarding that will start by featuring some of skateboards greatest innovators of early pool riding and skatepark competition.

“What is the El Gato Classic? The first “El Gato Classic” event will bring together what I am calling the “Revolutionary Age of Skateboarding”, the first competition bowl skaters from the Hester Series thru to the Gold Cup Series.

My desire is to highlight this era of skateboarders. It was a time when history was being made. They are the ones who helped shape competitive vertical skateboarding to what it is today. These young pioneers have often times been forgotten in the modern day world of Skateboarding.”
